HSPCHSPC Advice ServicesHSCP Advice Services is an agency based in Inverclyde who offer Welfare Benefit and money advice. The Triage Advice Service is available for clients to receive Welfare Benefit Advice over the telephone, if further assistance is required clients can be booked for appointments with Information and Advice Workers or Debt Advisors. This service also encompasses the Inverclyde Welfare Rights Unit where clients can be given support at Welfare Benefit tribunals.

Our project takes a holistic approach to the overall wellbeing of local disabled people with aim of improving the financial wellbeing, social inclusion and digital inclusion of our service users. Our service are delivered within our central office, in the community and in clients homes. Our project aims to increase and promote inclusion for people with disabilities by providing a range of services to assist them to become more involved and included in our communities, and will help those who acquire a disability or impairment to maintain their independence and inclusion, including assistance managing finances and benefits and maintaining independence at home.
We Are MacMillianMacMillanMacmillan Benefits Service is a partnership between Inverclyde Council and Macmillan Cancer Support which allows anyone affected by cancer in Inverclyde get free and confidential help to access benefits when they need it most. The £8 million which this service has helped people claim demonstrates the enormous impact the services is making in helping to alleviate the financial stress associated with a diagnosis of cancer or long term illness.
Inverclyde CouncilScottish Welfare FundThe Scottish Welfare Fund is a national scheme which is run by Inverclyde Council to offer grants in certain situations. The Scottish Welfare Fund can provide both Community Care Grants and Crisis Grants. Community Care Grants can provide furniture and household items to enable independent living or continued independent living, preventing the need for institutional care.
